A medical procedure called cryolipolysis uses localized, non-invasive fat removal to alter body features while also destroying fat cells. Using cryolipolysis can precisely target fat cells under the skin and chill them to a point where their natural demise is triggered. The method was FDA-approved in 2010, involves using a machine to cool fat deposits to a frigid 4 degrees Celsius.
The treated fat cells turn into crystals as a result of this procedure, known as cryolipolysis. There is no harm to the skin, nerves, or other nearby tissue, as the fats crystallize more quickly than regular cells (fat cells freeze at greater temperatures than surrounding tissues).
Similar to frostbite, cryolipolysis freezes fat while leaving the skin above it unharmed. A portion of your skin is placed into freezing equipment for roughly an hour, which causes certain fat cells to vanish.
These dead cells are eventually metabolized and excreted by the body. With Cooling technology, the treated fat cells are permanently eliminated, unlike diet and exercise, which just cause the fat cells to shrink in size.
This is fantastic for getting rid of stubborn fat deposits and sculpting your physique.
Results take two to four months to appear. You can reduce the amount of treated fat cells by roughly 20% between sessions. Depending on the situation, you may require more than one session. The body parts that can be treated are the stomach/abdomen, love handles/flanks, under the neck (double chin), back/bra region, thighs, and male chest.
Although there may be some bruising and skin numbness after this operation, it is less intrusive than other procedures like liposuction. It is primarily intended for eliminating difficult fat deposits; it is not a cure for obesity.
When fat is removed using laser or sonic waves, other tissue may also be damaged because non-fat cells may be burned, broken, or extracted during the procedure. Your body needs some leisure to recover from this.
Cryolipolysis targets fat cells by eliminating them in easy, non-intrusive ways that exercise and diet can't achieve as effectively. While liposuction produces faster results with a single treatment for minor regions, fat freezing requires a series of sessions. Liposuction is still the gold standard for larger regions since it is far less expensive than fat freezing.
